Pint Size Swagger

Brooklyn, NY

This Pint Size Diva in training had more Swagger than most runway models during Fashion Week at Bryant Park (NY, NY)
For those who didn't know, it was Brooklyn Fashion Weekend this past weekend. So the next 3 days, you'll get a Swagger 360 glimpse of the Brooklyn Fashion Weekend.

  2. well, she sure has some attitude ! The heels are a bit OTT for such a young girl, I've never liked that ; putting 'adult' clothes/shoes on kids when they are under 12...

But hey, in a few years time she could become the new Naomi Campbell !

  3. I must admit, I was a little torn in deciding to post this or not... like Dominica, I never liked seeing little girls dressed like women (everything in it's own time). I posted this not because of the "fashion" but because of the pint size attitude (those of you who follow the blog know fashion alone is never enough on Swagger 360). This little girl was dead on as a model...FIERCE!

  6. I have to agree with Dominica--I find the sexy heels and sexy attitude problematic for a child. It's kind of like those little girls in the midwest whose moms put them in those beauty pageants. These little girls put on makeup, heels, dresses made for grown women and they strut around and not only are they being sexualized but these little girls are learning from a very young age that that is what it means to be beautiful. It's quite sad.

  7. I thank you for the comment... hopefully she comes from a strong family unit and this path is not one that leads down a dark road.... instead hopefully it'll help shine both her days as well as the others she encounters.

Swagger is the attitude, not the fabricated pseudo-beauty.

in closing...nothing's more beautiful than a woman who doesn't have to add bells, whistles, heels, and seductive clothes. TRUE BEAUTY WILL ALWAYS COME FROM WITHIN.

  8. I'm curious to hear what you and others think about those without the attitude or those without "swagger" since there is a distinction being made between the two. A lot of people these days are using the concept of swagger as an ideal to be achieved--something that makes you cool. In other words, if you don't have swagger then you're not cool. A lot of times, this is based on how a person looks or what a person wears. I guess what I'm trying to get people to think about is: what is REALLY cool? Is it really about wearing the "right" accessories and wearing clean shoes?
